Today is the last day of the Odd-Even scheme implemented in view of the increasing level of pollution in the capital Delhi. In view of the constantly deteriorating air quality, it is being said that the duration of aud-even can be extended by the Delhi government. However, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that a decision will be taken on Monday on whether or not the duration of the aud-evening will be extended.
Talking to reporters, Kejriwal said that the air is expected to clear in the next two days, in such a situation, he does not want to forcibly impose Odd-Even on Delhiites. He said that if the situation does not improve in the next two-days, a decision will be taken on Monday on odd-even. Along with this, he also said that stubble burning is the biggest reason for pollution in Delhi-NCR.
Chief Minister Kejriwal said that a new scheme for cleaning septic tanks is being started in Delhi, under which trucks will come and the tank can be cleaned.
