So far 19 people have died in a multi-storey building collapsed in Pakistan on Sunday night. The residential building was in the Lyari area of ​​Karachi, which collapsed on Sunday night. Residents of the building said that the six-storey building collapsed after which rescue operations became difficult here. By Monday, the rescue team had taken out the dead body of eight people from here. 11 other bodies have been exhumed on Tuesday, with which 19 people have been confirmed dead so far. Apart from this, 12 people have been injured in the accident.

Located in Lyari's Liaquat Colony, this building had more than 40 apartments and a penthouse on the upper floor. Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) declared the building dangerous and unstable two months ago.

Meanwhile, President of Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed his concern for the loss of life and property in the incident. "I am with the families of the victims, we will not leave them alone in this difficult time," Bilawal said.
