The South Africa Cricket Board made a big announcement for its players on Monday. South Africa Cricket announced the annual contract of 30 players of the team. These 30 players include 16 male and 14 female players. The national contract for 2020-21 does not include veteran bowler Dale Steyn.
At the same time, young fast bowler Buren Hendricks has been listed by the South African Cricket Board for the first time in the list of national contracts. Apart from this, the all-rounder Dwain Pretorius, batsman Rassie van der Dussen and fast bowler Anrich Nortje have also got a place in this contract released on 23 March.
The CSA official said that in the annual agreement, we have included those players who are successful in limited-overs cricket apart from Test cricket. The contract will be effective only till the 2020 T20 World Cup. During this, the South African team has to play home series of Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, and India. At the same time, overseas visits to the West Indies and Sri Lanka are included.
