Did Sonia Gandhi say anything about the disappointing performance in the election?

Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday termed the party's performance in the recent assembly elections in four states and one union territory as 'disappointing' and said there was a need to take a lesson from this defeat. In a digital meeting of party MPs convened to discuss the situation in Corona, Sonia also said that a Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting would be held soon to review the election results of Assam, Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Referring to the electoral defeat of the Congress, he said, 'The most unfortunate thing is that our protestors in all the states have been disappointing and I can say that it is unpredictable. There will be a meeting of the CWC soon to review the election results, but it will be said that as a party, collectively we have to learn appropriately from this shock with all humility and honesty.
