Crude oil prices have been declining in the international market. For this reason, on Tuesday, the increase in the price of petrol and diesel has been on the increase since the last two days. Oil companies did not make any changes in petrol and diesel prices on Tuesday. According to IndianOil website, the prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained unchanged at Rs 70.05, 72.31 rupees, 75.75 rupees and 72.77 rupees per liter respectively. In the four metros, the price of diesel remained unchanged at Rs 63.90, Rs 65.82, Rs 66.99 and Rs 67.59 per liter respectively.

Prices increased on Monday

Earlier, on Monday, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai petrol became 7 paise and Chennai was costlier by 8 paise per liter. On the other hand, in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, 6 paisa in Chennai and 7 paisa per liter in Chennai. Petrol price in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai was up by 12 paise, while Chennai was up 13 paise a liter in two days on Monday and Sunday.

Crued Oil Prices Fell

If we speak about the price of crude oil has accelerated due to the increasing tension between the US and Iran in the past, but after the military tension subsided on Monday, the price of oil has come down again. The September futures contract of Brent crude at the International Futures Bourse ICE stood at $ 63.86 a barrel, down 0.50 per cent from the previous session. At the same time, the August delivery futures contract for US light crude West WTI on NYM was trading at $ 57.73 a barrel with a weak 0.29 percent last session.
