In the latest development from the murder of Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala, sources said, Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has admitted to Delhi Police for the murder of Moose Wala

Since the death of the singer, Lawrence Bishnoi's gang’s name has been in news. Goldy Brar, one of the close-knit of Lawrence Bishnoi had earlier claimed the responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, that occurred on May 29 in the Mansa District of Punjab.

Post the death of the singer, Lawrence through his lawyer sought an increase in his security at Tihar Jail. in a plea filed at Patiala High Court, it stated,” accused holds a robust political identity and due to the political rivalry involved in multiple false cases registered against him in Punjab and Chhatisgarh, there is a threat to his security.”

Sidhu Moose Wala earlier had contested Punjab’s assembly election on a Congress ticket from Mansa, the singer however got defeated by the AAP candidate Vijay Singla by a huge margin of 63,000 votes. Vijay Singla is the same person who was sacked by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann over charges of corruption.

Moose Wala, while reacting to his election results, released a song ‘Scapegoat’ last month. In the song, Moose Wala targeted the newly-elected Aam Aadmi Party and its supporters and called them ‘gaddar’ (traitor).
