On the night of June 6, a girl was gang-raped on the Ajmer National Highway in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. One accused in the case has now been caught in Uttar Pradesh. The Bhankrota police station in Jaipur revealed the matter on Monday after questioning about 1200 people. The accused, who has been absconding for a long time, had reached his village sister of Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh to tie Rakhi on Raksha Bandhan. On receiving the information, the police reached UP and caught the accused. From where he was brought to Jaipur on Monday.

Apart from this, Sukhlal Gurjar, a resident of Saidpur police station, Sarwar district, Ajmer, is also involved in the incident. A 22-year-old girl living in the Nahargarh area of ​​Jaipur had gone to a party on June 6.

After this, she along with her friend left her car on NH-8 on the long drive towards Ajmer Highway. At midnight, there was an altercation between the young man and the girl in the Bhankrota area. Then the young man took the girl down from the car from the Kamla Nehru culvert on the highway. He himself returned home in his own car.

After gang rape, ran away after robbing his mobile

Finding the girl alone on the highway at midnight, Prem Singh and Sukhlal Gurjar, passing by, raped her. Thereafter the accused fled leaving the girl. However, he had thrown the mobile phone at a distance. According to the police, both the rapists fled with the victim's mobile phone. After this, the victim girl also somehow came on the highway. There, with the help of the driver of the newspaper distributing vehicle, Alsubah reached the Bhankrota police station in the morning and told about the gang rape.

Clues found from CCTV footage

After the incident, for 15 days, the police interrogated about 250 factories and more than 1200 laborers living on rent in the vicinity by conducting door to door survey. Checked CCTV footage. Then on the day of the incident, two suspicious youths roaming on the road late in the night were named. After this, when the police reached the house of a suspect Prem Singh, it was found that he had left the village about 10 years ago.

There is no place after that. He doesn't even own a mobile phone. Finally, after two and a half months, there was information about Prem Singh reaching his sister's house on Raksha Bandhan. From where he was arrested.
