A case of gang rape with a woman has come to light from Mumbai, which is called the financial capital of the country. A Mumbai Police officer gave this information. He said that the incident is from the Kurla area.
Here on Wednesday morning i.e. December 30, three people entered the house of a 42-year-old woman and allegedly forcibly raped her. The accused took turns raping the woman and also had unnatural sex.
Not only this, but they also attacked her with a sharp weapon and burnt her private parts with a cigarette.
According to the information, all three accused and the victim live in the same area.
At present, a case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the woman.
The police officer of Kurla police station said that one of the accused made a video of the incident while raping the woman and threatened her to make it viral on the internet if she approached the police.
Later the woman narrated the entire incident to the neighbours. Neighbours, after listening to the woman's plight, contacted an NGO and lodged an FIR in the matter.
Police said the three accused have been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 376 (rape), 376D (gang rape), 377 (unnatural sex), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by a dangerous weapon) and other offences.
The accused have not been caught yet. The officer said that efforts are on to nab them, the accused will be arrested soon.
