On Sunday, two terrorists were killed in an encounter by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora. These include the killer of late BJP leader Wasim Bari, his father, and his brother. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorists. Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said that the police had received information about the hiding of 2 terrorists. We surrounded them and appealed to surrender. They did not accept this appeal, after which both were killed in the encounter. One of these terrorists had taken training in Pakistan and the other terrorist was involved in the killing of Wasim Bari.

Captured by the security forces

The bodies of both the terrorists have been captured by the security forces. The information about which organization the slain terrorists belonged to is not yet available. Along with this, for what purpose they were hiding in the area, it is also being ascertained. The search operation is still on.

3 terrorists were killed in Uri on Thursday

Earlier on Thursday, the army killed 3 terrorists in the Rampur sector near Uri on the LOC. Terrorists had recently entered Indian territory from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The army recovered 5 AK-47 rifles, 8 pistols, and 70 grenades from the terrorists killed in the operation.

Pakistani money found from terrorists

General DP Pandey, Commander of Chinar Corps said that Pakistani rupees were also recovered from the terrorists. They entered India via Pakistan. He told that the search operation was going on for the last 4 days. There was an infiltration attempt on 18 September also.

A terrorist was killed in Shopian

On Thursday itself, a terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Shopian. After receiving inputs about the presence of militants, security forces cordoned off and launched a search operation at Kashwa village in Jainpura area of ​​the district, officials said. He said the operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. The army also gave a befitting reply to the firing.
