In Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district, the atmosphere has heated up after the brutal murder of BJP Yuva Morcha district secretary Praveen Nettaru on Tuesday.

After working all day, when Praveen was returning home after closing the shop, around nine o'clock at night, bike-borne miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon. Praveen succumbed to his serious injuries.

Police have constituted 5 special teams to investigate the matter

Hindu organizations have called for a bandh in Bellare, Puttur, Sullia, Kadaba in Dakshina Kannada today i.e. on July 27, linking Praveen's murder case with PFI and SDPI. Police have constituted 5 special teams to investigate the matter. Three of these teams have gone to Kerala, Madikeri and Hassan.

At the same time, according to Dakshina Kannada SP Sonawane Rishikesh, investigation has been started in this matter. Search is on for the attackers with the help of CCTV cameras at the site of the incident.

Apart from this, the police have also started questioning Praveen's close friends. Police said that the reason for the murder is not yet known.

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai expressed grief

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai expressed grief over the killing of the BJP youth leader. He tweeted, "The ruthless killing of our party worker Praveen Nettaru from Dakshina Kannada district is condemnable. Those who commit such heinous crimes will be arrested soon and punished under the law. May Praveen's soul rest in peace."

BJP Yuva Morcha took to the road in protest against the murder

There is huge anger among the workers after the killing of the BJP leader. They have taken to the streets since night to protest the killing of Praveen Nettaru.

During this, they demanded justice by arresting the criminals at the earliest. Even before this, BJP leader Mohammad Anwar was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants riding a bike in the Gauri Kaluve area on June 23 at around 9.30 pm in Karnataka.

Mohammad Anwar was the BJP general secretary of Chikkamagaluru's urban unit.
