Jaipur police station has arrested a businessman in the case of fraud of 70 lakh rupees. He was on the run for the last one year. Recently, information was received about the main accused in the cheating case being in Jodhpur. Then the police camped for seven days and caught the accused. Brought here to Jaipur on Sunday. After his arrest, he was produced in court. From where he has been taken on police remand for two days. Two cases of cheating of lakhs are registered against the accused in Jaipur.
DCP (West) Pradeep Mohan Sharma said that the arrested accused Virendra Chaudhary (32) is a resident of Sant Dham Road, Pratap Nagar, Jodhpur. In this regard, Banwari Lal, a resident of Jaipur, had filed a case in Vishwakarma police station on July 1, 2020, in which it was told that there is a firm in the name of Infinity Infotech in Vishwakarma Industrial Area. In which the company operator Virendra Chaudhary and his father Balaram Chaudhary got the fake partnership deed made on the pretext of partnership.
After this, Rs 70 lakh was recovered from the fraudulent businessman Banwarilal on the pretext of investing in the firm. After this, Balaram and his son Virendra Chaudhary made some other person a partner in the firm instead of Banwarilal. On coming to know about the fraud, Banwarilal asked the businessman's father and son to return the money, but he refused.
VKI Thanaprabhari Mangilal Vishwaoi said that the victim Banwarilal got the case registered. After this, the police arrested Virendra's father Balaram Chaudhary. But the main accused in the trial, Virendra Chaudhary, absconded. The VKI police were looking for him for the past year. They also raided the locations of Jodhpur and Jaipur. But he could not be caught.
Eventually, constable Kamal Singh and constable Rajeev Pal of the special team at VKI police station got information that Virendra Singh was cutting a Ferrari in Jodhpur. Then both the police constables reached Jodhpur. Therefore about a week, wandering here and there in Saadawardi, gathering information about Virendra Chaudhary. contacted his acquaintances. Through this, the police reached the absconding accused. Caught him and brought him to Jaipur.
