Thoughts at CoWin Global Conclave to be shared today by PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share his views today at CoWin Global Conclave. The virtual meet is going to held at 3 PM. In which health and technology experts will participate from all over the world. As India offers the CoWin as a digital platform for the public good to other countries to access. And to upload the information about Covid-19 vaccine availability and slots.

Over 50 countries, including Canada, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, and Uganda have shown interest in adopting CoWIN website to run their inoculation drives, "India is ready to share open-source software for free." says Dr. R S Sharma, the CEO of National Health Authority (NHA).
Adding to this he said, "PM Modi has appointed officials to create versions for the open-source platform and provide it to the countries want it for free."

The virtual conclave inaugurated by Union health minister Harsh Vardhan.  Foreign Secretary H V Shringla, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, and Sharma will share their words.
In India vaccine campaign started on 16th January. The candidate has to register first. About 20 crore registrations are done after the launch of the third level in May.

Virtual meeting starts at 3 PM

The health and technology experts from all over the world will attend the virtual meet at 3 pm . The aim is to share India's experience regarding universal vaccination to fight Covid-19 through Co-WIN, said in a statement by NHA on its website.

Co-WIN was developed for strategizing, structuring, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating Covid vaccination. It works as the Central Information Technology (IT) system.
