The coronavirus epidemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. Many scientists around the world are engaged in developing vaccine for COVID-19. On the other hand, many potential vaccines are under trial stage. Meanwhile, South Africa has began the first trial for the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the information, it was first used on a person living in the city of Soweto. For information, let us tell you that this vaccine has been produced at the Oxford Jenner Institute in Britain.

2,000 South Africans to take part in international studies:

2,000 South Africans, including 24-year-old Mhalango from Soweto city, will participate in international studies. Let us tell you that till date the figure of coronavirus cases in South Africa has also crossed 1 lakh 11 thousand. Of these, 52 thousand 717 are active cases while 56,834 people have recovered or discharged.

Coronavirus cases in Pakistan reached close to 2 lakh:

On the other hand, the number of corona infected in Pakistan has reached close to 2 lakhs. According to the Health Ministry on Thursday, 4,044 cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours and with this the total number of cases has also crossed 1 lakh 92 thousand. Apart from this, the Ministry of National Health Services has also informed that 148 people have died due to corona in the country. With this, the total death toll has reached 3,903.

Sindh and Punjab province contributes most cases:      

Let us tell you that the outbreak of Coronavirus in Pakistan is increasing day by day, the maximum number of cases are being registered from Sindh and Punjab. With more than 4 thousand new cases a day, the total number of infected in the country has reached 1,92,970.

So far 1,171,976 tests conducted in Pakistan:

The maximum number of 74,070 cases have been registered in Sindh and 71,191 in Punjab. Apart from these, 23,887 cases have been reported from Khyber Pakhtunwa, 11,710 cases from Islamabad, 9,817 cases from Balochistan, 1,365 cases from Gilgit Baltistan and 930 cases from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Out of the total infected patients in Pakistan, 81,307 patients have been cured. The Health Administration has so far tested 1,171,976 people, of which 21,835 tests have been conducted on Wednesday.
