Trinamool MP Mimi Chakraborty's health has deteriorated four days after the fake vaccine was administered. She had fallen victim to a fake vaccination camp in Kolkata. SIT has been formed to investigate the matter. Also, the accused has been arrested.
According to media reports, Mimi called the doctor to her house this morning after her health deteriorated. She had severe pain in his stomach and was sweating continuously. He has been advised to get admitted to the hospital. But at the moment he has refused to be admitted and treatment is going on at home.
Actually, Mimi Chakraborty had exposed a fake vaccination camp running in Kolkata on Wednesday. She claimed that she herself has become a victim of this fake vaccination camp. He had told that a person named Devanjan had approached him as an IAS officer. He had said that he is running a special vaccination drive for transgenders and differently-abled people. Mimi told that she had requested to join the vaccination camp.
Mimi told that she had taken a dose of Covishield by going to the camp to encourage the people. But the message of COWIN did not come on his mobile. On being suspicious, he complained to the police and later the accused was caught.
TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty also reached out to get the vaccine after the person who was arrested by the police for setting up a vaccination camp as a fake IAS officer.
Devanjan's age is 28 years. His father's name is Manoranjan Dev. He is a resident of Madurdaha in Anandapur, Kolkata. He used to call himself the Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. According to the police, this gang was cheating people with fake seals and papers. The police have also recovered a fake ID, visiting card and some documents related to the vaccine issued by the Health Department from the accused.
