Rajasthan is again under threat of corona. After getting Covid cases in private schools of the capital Jaipur, there has been increased concern among the parents. Parents are demanding to start online classes while on the other hand, the school operators are not agreeing with it.
In the meeting held today, the Education Department also expressed concern about the increasing cases of Covid. In the meeting, Education Minister Dr BD Kalla took complete feedback, taking Covid matters seriously. The report of the meeting of the Education Department will be shared with the Medical Department and the Home Department.
Education Minister Dr Kalla said that all the cases of Covid that have come are in private schools. At present, children are protected in government schools. Any decision on this can be taken only after discussing with the departments. Appealing to all the private government schools, the Education Minister said that the Covid guideline should be strictly followed. Don't make any mistake about it. At present, offline or online classes have been discussed. The decision will be announced soon.
In this meeting, Jaipur CMHO Narottam Sharma presented his report. CMHO said that cases of Covid have been reported in the schools of the capital. They have been detected by taking precautions in time. But taking care in time, the students should also be quarantined. This can be avoided. According to CMHO, this is not a wave. This is the negligence of covid protocol.
It is noteworthy that once again Corona is knocking in Rajasthan. This time school children are on target of Covid. In the last 22 days, 19 children have become Covid positive in Rajasthan. In a school in Jaipur alone, after 12 children came under the grip of Covid, lines of concern have been drawn on the foreheads of the parents. Schools in Rajasthan were started with 100% capacity from November 15. Along with this, most educational institutions also stopped their online classes.
