On the one hand, where new variants are being seen every day of the corona virus spreading rapidly within a year and a half around the world, on the other hand, scientists are engaged in finding new ways to eliminate it.

A device has now been made in Italy which is being said that can kill the coronavirus. This laser device can kill the coronavirus particles present within the boundary wall.

This device has been made by the scientists of the United Nations in collaboration with the scientists of the Italian tech company. The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, based in the northern Italian city of Trieste, and Altec K-Laser, a local company that makes laser equipment, started this effort last year when Italy was battling Kovid-19.

The founder of the Altec company is Francesco Janata. His company manufactures laser products used in the medical field.

Kills virus in 50 milliseconds

In the device, the air is passed through a laser beam and it kills viruses and bacteria. "This device has completely changed the way I think about laser technology. This device kills viruses in 50 milliseconds," says Serena Zakinya, head of the Cardiovascular Biology Group at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.

Keeping the areas within the boundary wall free from infection has proved to be a major challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic. A virus-free environment inside has become a necessity in preventing the spread of this pandemic.

Questions are being raised about the device

Many scientists say about this device that laser-based technology will not be safe to kill the coronavirus. A study published in the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology in November last year linked the risk of cancer to laser-based devices.

Manufacturers say the device is completely safe

Both Janata and Jakinya have denied such reports. They believe that the laser emanating from it never comes in contact with the human skin, so there is no risk of causing cancer. He has also said that this device is completely safe. Apart from this, it is a recycled product. Janata said that "our device uses nature against nature."

Easy to take the device with you anywhere

The company has got a patent for this device. The company is trying to take this device to the international level soon. At the same time, due to its small size, it is easy to carry it anywhere. Its height is 5 feet 9 inches and its weight is around 25 kg. The company says that it can also be installed in the air-conditioning unit.

The device also has some flaws

One drawback of this technique is that viruses and bacteria can be eliminated in the air. If they fall from the air to the floor or any surface, the laser will not work. Apart from this, if the virus reaches another person by sneezing or speaking loudly, then this laser will not harm him.

License yet to be received for Germany and UAE market

The company has also started getting customers. Among those showing interest in the device includes Germany's EcoCare, which works in the field of vaccine testing. An ecocare spokesperson said, "Our company is seeking to license this device for the market in Germany and UAE.
