The lockdown in Delhi has been extended once again. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced this on Sunday. He said the lockdown, which ended on May 17, is being extended to May 24 to overcome the corona. Apart from this, we have also written a letter to the Central Government on the lack of vaccine.

He said that the lockdown in Delhi is seeing a good effect. Since 26 April, there has been a gradual decrease in new cases and the rate of infection has also been seen to decrease in the last two-three days. Gradually things are becoming normal. These are good signs for us.

Kejriwal said that there was a lockdown in Delhi till 5 am on Monday. Corona cases are rapidly decreasing in Delhi during the lockdown and recovery rates are seen increasing. We do not want anyone who is in control of us at the moment to become uncontrollable again. So we have decided to extend the lockdown a week. Now the lockdown is being extended till 5 am next Monday.

Decreasing positivity rate

He told that in the last 24 hours, about six and a half thousand corona cases have come. The positivity rate has also come down from 1% to 10% since Saturday. I hope that there will be more recovery in the next one week and Delhi will come on track gradually. The restrictions will remain the same.
