The first case came in March

According to experts, MIS-C is a post-covid disease in children who have symptoms like fever, abdominal pain, red eyes, three-four weeks after recovery from the coronavirus. According to the data of the state health ministry, till now 10 percent of all the state population infected with corona include children below 18 years of age, while most of the MIS-C infected cases have been seen in children below 15 years of age. . The first case of MIS-C was reported in March this year at the government hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
