Bharatiya Janata Party chief JP Nadda on Sunday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the bold decision of lockdown amid the Corona pandemic and for tackling the upcoming economic challenges. Praising PM Modi, Nadda said that the Prime Minister led the country by leading the way in combating the Corona pandemic.
Addressing the inaugural address of the first national executive after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, Nadda said that the decision to impose the lockdown was taken by PM Modi and within three months, all necessary facilities were made available to the people across the country. There are three T's in the methodology implemented to fight COVID – Track, Test and Treat. Nadda said that the WHO has appreciated the leadership of PM Modi in dealing with the challenges of the Corona pandemic.
The BJP chief also praised the party for increasing its vote share in the recent elections. Nadda said, "From the general elections to the panchayat elections, the vote share of the BJP has increased. In fact BJP is doing very well in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP chief also said that PM Modi is the only leader who has ensured the prosperity of farmers in the country by introducing progressive policies and laws for the upliftment of farmers in India.
He also listed out the policies implemented by the Center in the health and agriculture sectors. The party chief said that neither the world nor the country had imagined that India would come up with its own vaccine to deal with the corona pandemic. Nadda said that India has made Covid vaccines in a very short time and has also managed to vaccinate 100 crores.
JP Nadda also called upon the party workers to ensure that people get their second corona vaccine dose. Nadda lauded the various policy initiatives of the Central Government from the abrogation of Article 370 and various peace agreements in Assam and Tripura.
