On Tuesday, there will be a meeting of top officials regarding its implementation. Now the government is obtaining the Corona cases to the fore, while the cases are constantly exploding. Based on the decision taken in this, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) can also issue orders on Yellow Alert. After this, public transport services in Delhi will run at 50 percent. At the same time, during the day the markets will also open on the formula of odd-even. On the other hand, many other activities including educational institutions will be closed. A senior administrator said that the infection rate in Delhi remained above .50 percent for the second consecutive day. It was .55 percent on Sunday and .68 percent on Monday.

Under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) rules made for Covid, now a situation of Yellow Alert has become in Delhi. In this regard, the situation was discussed among senior officials on Monday. To control the corona cases and to prevent the establishment of lockdown strict particles are being made from now on. But no decision has been taken on this yet. It will be considered on Tuesday. Only after this, a decision will be taken on implementing the Yellow Alert. DDMA, on the other hand, has issued an order to implement Night Curfew on Monday morning. The ban will remain in force in Delhi from 11 pm to 5 am till further orders.

Who can get an exemption in Night Curfew?

Discounts can be given in very essential things. Exemptions will be given to patients and pregnant women, people buying essential commodities, and commuting to and from railway stations, bus stops, and airports. Those exempted from the curfew include government officials involved in emergency services, judges and judicial officers, medical personnel, and media persons.

Those going for COVID vaccination will be exempted on the production of a valid identity card and proof of time taken at the vaccination center. Students and candidates appearing in the recruitment examinations will also be allowed to the production of valid IDs and admit cards. During this time people going out will have to present a valid identity card. Only then will you be allowed to leave. Negligence to do so will result in a case being registered under the DDMA Act.

What will be closed during night curfew?

Cinemas, multiplexes, theatres, conference rooms, banquet halls, spa and wellness clinics, yoga institutes, and gyms will be closed along with educational institutions when the Yellow Alert is issued. All public transport services, including the Metro, will run at 50 percent capacity. Night curfew will be in force from 10 pm to 5 am. Between 10 am to 8 pm, shops and shopping malls will run on the odd-even formula. Restaurants will open at 50 percent capacity from 8 am to 10 pm and bars will open at 50 percent capacity from 12 noon to 10 pm.
