Of these, 93,48,761 people have been cured, while 6,30,138 people have died. On the other hand, more than 71 thousand new cases were reported in the US for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. The number of infected in the country has now crossed 40 lakhs.

On Wednesday, two staff members working in the White House cafeteria were found infected. After this, the cafeteria was shut down. This is the third time since March that people inside the White House have been infected.

Brazil: Coronavirus cases cross 2.2 million

In the last 24 hours, 67,960 new cases have been reported in Brazil. Now, the number of infected people has reached 22,27,514. The Brazilian Ministry of Health gave this information on Wednesday. According to the ministry, there have been 1284 deaths in the last 24 hours. So far 82,771 people have lost their lives here.

Argentina: More than 5 thousand new cases

There have been 5782 new coronavirus cases reported in Argentina during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected here has reached 1, 41,900. According to the ministry, with the death of 98 patients in the last 24 hours in the country, the death toll now stands at 2588.

US: Agreement to buy 100 million vaccine

The United States has tied up with two companies for two billion dollars to buy 100 million vaccines. These two companies are Pfizer in the US and BioNTech in Germany. It is believed to be the biggest deal ever. Earlier, Britain had signed an agreement with Pfizer and two other companies to buy 90 million vaccines.

Japan: Record 300 cases found in Tokyo

Mexico: China offers help to buy vaccine

China has offered $ 1 billion (about 7480 million) to purchase the vaccine from Mexico. Mexico's Foreign Ministry gave this information on Thursday. The offer was made on July 23 in a video conferencing between foreign ministers of China, Latin America and Caribbean countries.
