India has been witnessing a gradual decrease in daily coronavirus cases. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 41,383 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 3,12,57,720. With 507 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 4,18,987.
The country also witnessed 38,652 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 3,04,29,339. With this, the country's recovery rate has increased to 97.35 %. On the other hand, India's mortality rate stands at 1.34 %. Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stands at 4,09,394. The active cases rate in India stands at 1.30 %.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 17,18,439 samples were tested across the country on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a total of 45,09,11,712 samples have been tested so far till July 21.
Meanwhile, mass vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, so far 41,78,51,151 have been vaccinated in the country. Out of this, 22,77,679 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
On Thursday, 62 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile,61 people recovered and 5 died. So far, 14.35 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 14.10 lakh have cured, while 25,039 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 566 patients who are undergoing treatment.
On Thursday, 22 cases of coronavirus reported in the state. Of these, 55 people recovered. So far, 9.53 lakh people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,951 patients have died. At present, 358 patients are undergoing treatment.
