Coronavirus: 78 More people Died in Pakistan, Death toll Rose to 1395

Pakistan's health officials said that 24,131 of the infected people have recovered after treatment

With the death of 78 more people due to corona virus infection in the last 24 hours in Pakistan, the number of people who died from this deadly virus in the country has increased to 1,395, while the total number of infected people has risen to around 67,500. Pakistan's health officials said on Saturday that 5,32,037 samples have been tested in the country so far, of which 12,020 samples were tested on Friday.

The ministry said that 2,429 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the last 24 hours, with this the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 66,457. Sindh has reported the highest number of 26,113 cases of infected. This was followed by 24,104 in Punjab, 9,067 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 4,087 in Balochistan, 2,192 in Islamabad, 660 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 234 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The ministry said that 24,131 of the infected people have recovered after treatment. Minister of State for Border Areas and Drug Control Shaharyar Afridi tweeted late Friday that he had been found infected. He said, "I have separated myself at home according to the consultation of the doctors." Meanwhile, Britain announced an additional aid of 43 million and 90 thousand pounds to Pakistan to combat this infection. It should be noted that  Britain had also provided 26 lakh 70 thousand pounds to Pakistan in April.
