Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in India and with this the number of testing is also increasing in the country. On Thursday, the total number of coronavirus tests in the country has crossed the 75 lakh mark. For the last two days, more than two lakh tests are being conducted every day in the country.

18000 TESTS ARE CONDUCTED DAILY IN TAMIL NADU AND DELHI

Let us tell you that one of the reasons for the rise of Coronavirus cases is because of the number of rapidly increasing tests in the country. Now Delhi and Tamil Nadu are such states where more than 18 thousand tests are being conducted every day. Secondly, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh are also doing about fifteen thousand tests daily.

9 LAKH TESTS CONDUCTED IN MAHARHTRA SO FAR

According to the latest data, nearly one million tests have been done in Tamil Nadu. After that Maharashtra has the highest number of nine lakh Tests conducted so far. In case of testing in the country, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are followed by Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.

INDIA COMES AT NUMBER 4TH POSITION IN TERMS OF TESTINGS

India has become the fourth country in the world in terms of testing, whereas so far in the world, America and Russia are countries which have conducted more than one crore tests so far. There have been more than 20 million tests in America, whereas the UK comes at number three and then India at number four. So far, one thousand labs have been made by ICMR in the country, while now the next target is to do three lakh tests every day in the country.
