He said that if there is a lockdown in England, then we will not be able to come to India after 31 March. Please help us in our repatriation. Varun is not the only one who wants to come to India. Like Varun, there are many other students who had reached many airports to aspire to return home.

At Gatwick Airport, some Indian students reached the Indian High Commission office and demanded to be sent back to India. The Indian National Students Association (INSA) is providing guidance and support to all students in England. Association president Amit Tiwari told India Today, "We are getting many questions related to health, travel and housing and even loneliness." We are telling them to remain calm and not to panic. At the same time, we are also asking them to keep an eye on the right information among many misinformations.

Recently, such misinformation had come that people can come to India before 22 March. This information forced many students to buy tickets in a hurry. In India, any person coming from England, Europe or Turkey has been banned from March 18 to March 31.But despite the ban, some airlines allowed booking for March 19 or 20, but when the students arrived at the airport, they were asked to obtain a letter of permission from the Indian High Commission to enter India.

Varun told India Today that about 200 to 300 students are stranded in London. We had a flight from London Heathrow to India on March 21, but according to Emirates Airline, the Indian government changed the law at the last minute. We asked him that when he received a letter from the Government of India regarding the travel ban, then why were they selling tickets?

Ashwini Kumar, managing director of Bright Angles Travel, told India Today that we have written a letter to Emirates seeking clarification. Their reply is awaited. However, according to the advisory issued by Emirates Airline, tickets are being allowed to be booked again within the next 12 months from the day of issue of tickets. Ashwini says that the travel advisory of airlines is changing rapidly.
