
Delhi: An emergency meeting of DDMA was held in Delhi on the issue of the rising corona cases. It has been made mandatory to wear a mask in Delhi. A fine of Rs 500 can be imposed for not applying the mask. The decision to close the schools has yet to be made.
It has been told that on the advice of experts, a decisive decision regarding the schools will be taken. Along with this, there was a discussion on increasing the testing in the meeting. The decision was taken to conduct vaccination on a large scale in Delhi. The Union Health Ministry said that the number of patients under treatment for Covid-19 in the country has increased to 12,340.
In India, 2,067 new cases of the corona were reported in the last 24 hours, while 1,247 cases of the corona were registered on the last day. This information was released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday. 40 people died in the country in the last 24 hours, due to which the death toll has increased to 5,22,006.
The number of active cases of corona increased to 12,340. The positivity rate in the country is 0.03 per cent. A total of 1,547 patients were cured in a day, taking the total number of recovered patients since the start of the pandemic to 4,25,13,248.
India's recovery rate is 98.76 per cent. A total of 4,21,183 corona tests were conducted across the country. India has done more than 83.29 crore corona tests so far.
The weekly positivity rate in the country is 0.38 per cent, while the daily positivity rate is 0.49 per cent. According to the report, the corona vaccination coverage has exceeded 186.90 crores.
