The cruise ship Cordelia is once again in the news after the arrest of Aryan Khan on charges of attending a drug party on the waves of the sea. Now, 2016 passengers aboard the cruise are stuck in the sea due to the corona infection of the crew and 66 passengers of the cruise.
Cordelia Cruises had left for Goa from Mumbai. At present, it is near the cruise terminal at Mormugao port of Goa. The Goa government has refused to allow the ship to anchor off the coast. As a result, this beach is standing in the sea itself. Corona RT-PCR test of all the passengers was done after the crew member was found positive. Now, the infected crew and passengers have been isolated inside the ship. The authorities have given strict instructions that no person should get off the ship.
A medical team equipped with PPE kits had arrived to conduct RT-PCR tests of over 2000 passengers and crew members. Their result is awaited. The authorities have asked no one to get off the ship before the result of the RT-PCR test is declared.

This cruise is being booked from Mumbai to Goa, Lakshadweep, and Kochi. Keeping in mind the Corona circumstances, the foreign tour was started in 2022. The cruise has facilities like a restaurant, bar, open cinema, theatre, conference room, children's play area, gym, and hospital.
Most of the parties are held around the pool built inside the ship. More than 3000 passengers can travel on it. The fare for a single journey on the ship ranges from Rs 17,700 to Rs 53,100.
