Corona Havoc Continues: Omicron Infected Figure Crosses 1430, 406 Deaths due to Corona in Last 24 Hours

In India, the corona infection of a new variant, Omicron, is increasing continuously. After the arrival of 161 new cases, the number of cases of Omicron has increased to 1,431. In this regard, the Union Health Ministry gave information this morning.
1,431 cases of Omicron form have been reported in 23 states and union territories and out of which 488 people have either recovered or have left the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 454 cases of the new variant of coronavirus, Omicron, followed by 351 in Delhi, 118 in Kerala and 115 in Gujarat.

According to the Ministry of Health, the daily cases of corona infection in the country have crossed the figure of more than 16,000 after 65 days, due to which the number of infected in the country has increased to 3,48,61,579. At the same time, the number of patients undergoing treatment has increased to 1,04,781. 22,775 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in India, while the death toll has increased to 4,81,080 after the death of 406 more people.
Let us discuss here that on October 6, 22,431 new cases of infection were reported in the country in 24 hours. At the same time, on November 30, the number of patients undergoing treatment had crossed one lakh. The Health Ministry said that the cases under treatment are 0.30 percent of the cases of infection, while the national rate of infection is 98.32 percent. It said that the number of patients under treatment has increased by 13,420 in the last 24 hours.
Last year on August 7 the number of corona infections in the country had exceeded 20 lakhs, on August 23, 30 lakhs and on September 5, more than 40 lakhs. At the same time, the total cases of corona infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November. In the country, these cases had crossed one crore on December 19, two crore on May 4 this year and three crores on June 23.
