It is worth noting that an official informed that at least 29 students have been confirmed to have coronavirus infection in a residential school in Nadia district. The official said that 29 students of class 9th and 10th of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya have been found to be corona positive. At the same time, the parents of the infected students have been asked by the school to take them home. After the incident, SDO Hirak Mandal of Kalyani has said that other students and teachers of the same school are also being investigated for Covid-19.
Omicron cases are also increasing in West Bengal
Let us tell you, along with Corona, Omicron cases are also increasing in West Bengal. Here two people who returned from abroad have been found infected with Omicron. A senior health official said that out of the two infected people, one person came from Nigeria and the other had returned to the country from Britain. The official said that we have received the genome report of three samples. In this, Omicron has been confirmed in two samples.
Significantly, the country is once again coming under the grip of Corona. The number of people infected with the new threat of corona, Omicron, is increasing in 17 states of India. So far 287 cases of Omicron have been found in the country. At the same time, because of the fast-growing cases of Omicron, the government has also come into alert mode. He said that Omicron is highly contagious. Therefore it is very important to follow the corona protocol. People should wear masks regularly, maintain proper distance and avoid such gatherings, which are likely to spread the infection on a large scale.
