In view of Corona virus infection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed that the borders of the state should be completely sealed and vigilance should be taken in the border areas. He said that it should be ensured that no one comes to the state without permission and through the Chief Minister Helpline, communicating with the village heads and councilors of the cities, it should be ensured that no one can sneak into the state.

The Uttar Pradesh government said on Friday that so far about four lakh migrant workers and workers from Delhi and 12,000 workers from Haryana have been safely returned to the state. Similarly, return of migrant workers from other states will also be ensured in a phased manner. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to the welfare of workers. The state government has taken several steps in the interest of workers and workers affected by the economic activities disrupted due to Covid-19. The state government is taking effective steps for phased withdrawal of migrant workers of the state from other states.

The Chief Minister reviewed the lockdown system at a high-level meeting at his government residence here on Friday. The Chief Minister directed the officials that action should be taken to bring back the migrant laborers of one state at a time. He said that all the workers returned should be subjected to health tests. Healthy laborers should be sent home for 14 days of isolation along with ration kits, whose health is not well such workers should be placed in a quarantine center and treatment should be arranged.

Yogi Adityanath was informed in the meeting that micro-biologists and other human resources have been made available for investigation work in three institutes based in Lucknow, whereas investigation work will start in these institutions from Saturday.

The Chief Minister directed that an action plan should be made to establish L-1, L-2 hospitals in private engineering colleges, dental colleges and nursing colleges as required. He has given instructions to send additional administrative and dedicated medical teams to Agra and Kanpur Nagar districts. He said that masks and gloves should be provided to the drivers of roadways buses.
