Coronavirus pandemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. According to Worldometer.com, so far, 112,322,451 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the world. Of these, 87,855,741 people have recovered from this deadly virus, while 2,487,079 patients have died.
In the US, the death toll due to the coronavirus pandemic crossed 500,000. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden said, “Today we mark a truly grim, heartbreaking milestone – 500,071 dead. As a nation, we can’t accept such a cruel fate. We’ve been fighting this pandemic for so long. We have to resist becoming numb to the sorrow. We have to resist viewing each life as a statistic or a blurb or on the news.”
UK bans Non-essential International travel till May 17:
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday announced the suspension on non-essential international travel from and to the country till May 17. Let us tell you that the travel and aviation sectors have been among the worst-hit during the coronavirus pandemic, but the restrictions have been imposed due to the new COVID-19 strain.
On the roadmap for easing lockdown, Johnson said, “This is part of the roadmap’s second step and it will take place at least five weeks after the first step– 8 March–but could be postponed if the prime minister and his advisers say it is necessary.”

India: 10,584 cases in the last 24 hours
India reported 10,584 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. During this period, 78 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus. Apart from this, the recovery rate continues to increase.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,10,16,434 cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the country. So far 1,07,12,665 people have been recovered, while there are currently 1,47,306 active cases in the country. The death toll due to coronavirus in India has reached 1,56,463.
