Coronavirus pandemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. According to Worldometer.com, so far, 95,553,377 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the world. Of these, 68,267,679 people have recovered from this deadly virus, while, 2,041,232 patients have died.
India: 13,788 cases in the last 24 hours
The cases of coronavirus are decreasing steadily in India. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 13,788 new cases reported in the last 24 hours in the country. During this period, 145 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus. Along with this, active cases are also decreasing continuously. Apart from this, the recovery rate has also increased to more than 97 percent.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,05,71,773 cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the country. So far 1,02,11,342 people have been recovered, while there are currently 2,08,012 active cases in the country. The death toll due to coronavirus in India has reached 1,52,419.
Brazil granted emergency approval to two vaccine candidates:
Brazil, one of the countries most affected by coronavirus, has granted emergency approval to two vaccines. The Health Regulatory on Sunday gave emergency approval to AstraZeneca-Oxford’s vaccine and Chinese company Synovac’s vaccine candidate on Sunday. So far, 84.88 lakh people have been infected in Brazil. 74.11 lakh people have been recovered, while 2.09 lakh people have lost their lives.
France: Government plans to re-open schools
After three months of strict lockdown, the French government is now preparing to re-open schools here. But before that, over 10 lakh children will undergo Coronavirus testing as some schools remained open even during the period of lockdown and curfew. But now before opening other schools, the government will conduct tests of teachers and students.
