India may not require Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine: Harsh Vardhan
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that India may not require Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine in the war against the coronavirus, as other vaccines being tested in the country have so far shown promising results in safety trials. He has said that it is also the responsibility of the people with the state government to cooperate in containing the coronavirus.

FDA approves emergency use of Regeneron’s antibody drug:
US drug regulators have approved the emergency use of an experimental antibody treatment given to President Trump last month after he was infected with the coronavirus. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the drug, developed by Regeneron, will be allowed for use in people, who are at risk of severe illness. The FDA allowed this drug to be used on adults and children 12 years of age or older and weighing at least 40 kg.
Mexico: 719 deaths in the last 24 hours:
The death toll due to coronavirus in Mexico has reached 100,000. A total of 719 infected people died. Currently, there are about 1,26,000 infected in the country. According to government officials, the actual number of infected can be much higher than this.
