Coronavirus pandemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. According to worldometer.com, so far, 40,339,715 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the world. Of these, 30,139,833 people have recovered from this deadly virus, while 1,118,945 patients have died.
China approved the usage of its experimental Covid-19 vaccines:
China on Sunday approved the usage of its experimental Covid-19 vaccines in three more cities for urgent use. All these cities are in the state of Zhejiang. First frontline workers will be vaccinated. After this the vaccination drive will be run among the common people.
Currently, there are 11 vaccines in different stages of trials in China. Some of these have been allowed to be used in emergencies. The rest is waiting for approval. So far, more than 85 thousand infected have been found in China and 4634 deaths have been reported.
Israel to provide relaxation in lockdown restrictions:
Israel will provide relief in lockdown restrictions after cases of infection have decreased. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this on Sunday. Now people will be able to move within one-kilometer radius. Apart from delivery from the restaurant, take-out will be available. It will be allowed to go to the beach.
However, the Prime Minister said that people should follow the guidelines issued by the government. Hopefully, we will help in bringing the economy back on track. Restrictions will be tightened again if it seems that the cases of infection are not decreasing.
Russia: Death toll in Moscow crosses 6 thousand:
In Russia’s capital Moscow, 50 people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths here has crossed 6 thousand. For the past three days, more than 50 deaths have been reporting here every day. 54 people died on Friday and 52 on Saturday. So far, 13,99,334 have been infected and 24,187 deaths have reported in the country.
Coronavirus: Britain Reports 16,982 Confirmed Cases in 24 Hours
Britain has reported 16,982 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, while on Sunday, the country reported 67 new deaths due to this deadly virus. This is a new record in the UK in terms of number of patients. With this, the number of patients in the UK has crossed 722,409. So far 43,646 people have died in Britain due to Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the British government’s scientific advisor Jeremy Farrar believes that the COVID-19 vaccine will be available in the country in the next six months. Jeremy says we will have vaccines and more than one vaccine in the first quarter of next year.
