On the other hand, China has approved for clinical trials of its first Nasal Spray Vaccine against coronavirus. The first phase trial of China’s nasal spray vaccine is likely to begin in November and may involve up to 100 participants. According to reports, this is the only vaccine of this type approved by the National Medical Products Administration of China.
The vaccine is being developed under a collective mission between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland that includes researchers from the University of Hong Kong, Xiamen University and Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy.
