Coronavirus pandemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. According to Worldometer.com, so far, 112,012,333 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the world. Of these, 87,379,884 people have recovered from this deadly virus, while 2,479,118 patients have died.
Meanwhile, US top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci has advised Americans to be vigilant as they may still need to wear masks in 2022 even if the country relaxes other restrictions. He said, “I think it is possible that that’s the case. Obviously, I think we are going to have a significant degree of normality beyond the terrible burden that all of us have been through over the last year,
India: 14,199 cases in the last 24 hours
India reported 14,199 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. During this period, 83 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus. Apart from this, the recovery rate continues to increase.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,10,05,850 cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the country. So far 1,06,99,410 people have been recovered, while there are currently 1,50,055 active cases in the country. The death toll due to coronavirus in India has reached 1,56,385.

Russia approves its 3rd COVID-19 Vaccine ‘CoviVac’:
Russia approved the third COVID-19 vaccine for domestic use on Saturday. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin gave this information on the local TV channel. However, the large-scale clinical trials of the vaccine ‘CoviVac’, produced by the Chumakov Center, are yet to begin. Russia has already approved two COVID-19 vaccines, including the ‘Sputnik V’ Shot.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, “Today, Russia is the only country to have already three vaccines against Covid-19.” At the same time, the Chumakov Centre’s director, Aidar Ishmukhametov said, “The vaccine we have developed… reflects the whole history of Russian, as well as global, vaccine science.”
