India reported 3,29,942 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 2,29,92,517, the Union Health Ministry reported on Monday. With 3,876 people succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours, the death toll has mounted to 2,49,992. Currently, there are 37,45,237 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The country also witnessed as many as 3,56,082 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 1,90,27,304. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as many as 30,56,00,187 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to May 10. Of these 18,50,110 samples were tested on Sunday. The total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered stand at over 17,27,10,066 crore, informed the health ministry.
On Tuesday, the state reported 37,236 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 61,607 patients recovered and 549 died. So far, 51.38 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 44.69 lakh people have recovered, while 76,398 have died. Currently, there are about 5.90 lakh people, who are undergoing treatment.
On Tuesday, 12,651 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile, 13,306 people recovered and 319 died. So far, 13.36 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 12.31 lakh have cured, while 19,663 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 85,258 patients who are undergoing treatment.
On Tuesday, 11,592 fresh cases reported in the state. At the same time, 14,931 people were recovered and 117 died. Till now, 6.92 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 5.47 lakh have been cured, while 8511 patients have died. There are 1.36 patients who are undergoing treatment.
