The decline in cases of coronavirus continues in India. According to the data released by the Health Ministry, 18,222 cases reported in the last 24 hours. During this time, 19,253 patients have been recovered, while 228 people died. At the same time, the recovery rate in India has increased to 96.41 percent, while Death rate stands at 1.45 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cases in India has increased to 1,04,31,639. At the same time, 1,00,56,651people have been recovered, while 1,50,798 people have lost their lives so far. Meanwhile, the active case stands at 2,24,190, which is 2.15 percent of the total cases.
Over 18 crore tests conducted so far:
The number of coronavirus testing in the country is also increasing. According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 18,02,53,315 samples have been tested in the country till January 8, of which 9,16,951 tests were conducted yesterday.

Rajasthan: 471 cases in the last 24 hours
Within the last 24 hours, 471 cases reported in the state. At the same time, 537 people recovered. So far, 3.12 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 3.01 lakh people have been cured, while 2727 patients have died. There are currently 7402 active cases in the state.
Delhi: 444 cases
On Wednesday, 444 cases reported in the state, while 823 people recovered and 10 died. So far, 6.29 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 6.14 lakh people have recovered, while 10,654 patients have died. At the same time, 3779 patients are undergoing treatment.
On 11 January, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all states. In this, the Prime Minister will discuss about the preparations for the mass vaccination drive.
