In many states of the country, the cases of coronavirus are once again increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 37,975 new cases were reported, while 480 people have lost their lives. With this, the infection cases in the country have increased to more than 91 lakh. OF these, 86.04 lakh people have been completely recovered or cured.
Total coronavirus cases surpassed 91 lakh mark:
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, the cases of infection in the country have increased to 91,77,841. At the same time, after the death of 480 people, the death toll has increased to 1,03,218. The number of active cases in the country has remained below five lakh for 14 consecutive days.
India’s recovery rate stands at 93.76%:
According to statistics, 4,38,667 people are being under treatment in the country right now, which is 4.78 percent of the total cases-load. The recovery rate of patients in the country has increased to 93.76 percent. At the same time, the death rate in the country has come down to 1.46 percent. In India, the number of infected reached 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November.

Nearly 11 lakh samples tested in the last 24 hours:
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 13 crore 36 lakh 82 thousand 275 samples were tested till 22 November. Out of this, 10,99,545 samples were tested on Monday.
In Himachal Pradesh, the night curfew will remain in force from 8 am to 6 am in Shimla, Mandi, Kullu and Kangra districts from 24 November to 15 December. The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.
