Coronavirus: Two Engineers from Kanpur have Developed a Ventilator that can Prevent from Virus

Two engineers from Kanpur have developed a ventilator. Shivshankar Upadhyay and Shubhankar Banka, two BTech young engineers from the Computer Science Engineering Department of UP's Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) have developed this medical ventilator called Rakshak under the TechBlaze Technological Systems Private Limited startup.

The risk of ventilator infection is not at all favorable.  Its parts can be changed every time.  Up to 10 patients can be supported at a time. Shivshankar and Shubhankar said that it has been prepared as per international standards.  It has all the features, Even that Features do not even occur in other ventilators.  He said that usually the ventilator is sterilized by chemical or bacterial-free, but there is doubt as to whether the interiors of the pipe etc. have been completely sterilized.  Often the virus in these parts is not completely eradicated.  That is why ventilators are considered a cause of infection.

"In such a situation, any other infection received by the corona infected patient through a ventilator can prove fatal," Shivshankar said.  We have presented a solution to this problem.  The respiratory channel i.e. compression section of the ventilator is kept for single use only.  Once used on a patient, it can be disposed off and a new set costing 2,500 for a new patient.  Anbu bag has been inbuilt in it, which itself pumps and breathes the patient's need.
