Worldwide, the number of people who lost their lives due to the coronavirus pandemic has reached close to 5 million. At present 49.97 lakh, people have died due to corona infection in the world. According to Reuters, 2.5 million of these deaths occurred in more than a year, while the next 2.5 million deaths took just 236 days or less than 8 months. This happened due to the second wave of Corona, in which the Delta variant caused havoc.

World's average deaths in the last seven days

In the last seven days, 8 thousand people in the world died due to corona infection, that is, every 5 minutes one person died of the corona. The US, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and India accounted for more than half of the world's average deaths in the last seven days. However, according to the report, the death rate of corona in the world has declined in the last few weeks.

7 lakh deaths in America crossed

America has the highest number of deaths due to corona infection in the world. Here 7.02 lakh people have lost their lives. Due to rumors about the vaccine in the country, a large number of people are avoiding taking doses. About one-third of the population here has not been vaccinated.

887 deaths in one day in Russia

On Friday, 887 deaths were recorded in Russia due to corona, which is the highest in a day since the start of the corona epidemic. Only 33% of the country's population has got the vaccine.

The situation has improved in India
