Coronavirus: Situation Getting worse in Pakistan, 3938 New Cases Reported in a Day

With 3,938 new cases of corona virus reported in Pakistan, the number of infected people increased to 76,398 on Tuesday, while the number of people who lost their lives due to this deadly disease has increased to 1,621. The Health Ministry said that 78 people have died due to corona virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths to 1,621.

According to the ministry, a total of 27,110 people have recovered from the disease. There are 29,647 patients of corona virus in Sindh, 27,850 in Punjab, 10,485 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 4,514 in Balochistan, 2,893 in Islamabad and 271 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Whereas, authorities have conducted 5,77,974 tests so far of which 16,548 tests have been done in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that people should learn to live with Covid-19 till a vaccine develops. Khan addressed the media after chairing a meeting of the National Coordination Committee, a body set up to deal with the epidemic. He said, "Until the vaccine is discovered, the corona virus will not go away, we have to learn to live with it and we can live with it if we take precautions."
