The coronavirus epidemic continues wreaking havoc worldwide. On the other hand, Pakistan has seen a decline in new cases of coronavirus after about a month on Friday. During the last 24 hours, 2,775 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. After which the number of people infected with Coronavirus in the country has increased to 1,95,745.

According to the data released by the National Health Ministry, 59 more people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours, after which the death toll has risen to 3,962. At the same time, a total of 84,168 patients have recovered from the disease.

Sindh and Punjab Province most affected by Coronavirus epidemic in Pakistan:

Sindh and Punjab provinces are the most affected by the coronavirus epidemic in Pakistan, where there are more than 1.47 lakh cases. Of these, 75,168 cases in Sindh, 71,987 cases in Punjab, 24,303 cases in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 11,981 cases in Islamabad, 9,946 cases in Balochistan, 1,398 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan and 962 cases in PoK have been reported so far. A total of 11,93,17 tests have been conducted in the country, including 21,041 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

Pakistan sought support from WHO to issue guidelines for Eid ul Adha:

Meanwhile, Pakistan has sought support from the World Health Organization (WHO) to issue guidelines for the upcoming Eid ul Adha.  During the meeting on Thursday through video link with WHO's Regional Director Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari and his team, Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for National Health Services, sought help to formulate guidelines. Mirza said that Pakistan is firmly fighting the Coronavirus. The purpose of this meeting was to find out areas in Pakistan where the WHO would technically assist the Government of Pakistan in fighting the virus.

No confusion about coronavirus: PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday defended his government dealing with the Coronavirus crisis, saying there has been no confusion in official policies since the onset of the disease. Addressing Parliament, Khan said that if there is any country in which there is no confusion in the government about the coronavirus, then it is our government.
