Pakistan has reported in the last 24 hours. Apart from this, the number of infected people is increasing day by day. So far the number of coronavirus cases has crossed 94,000 in the country. With this, the death toll from Coronavirus has crossed 1900.

The Government of Pakistan is now taking strict measures to prevent corona infection. Action is being taken against those who are not following the rules laid down for it. According to information collected by the NCOC from all the provinces, 1,311 markets and 83 industries were sealed and 2,221 vehicles seized in Pakistan on Friday on violation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Smart lockdown was imposed in 848 areas.

Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Health, has also given information about the 'We Care' campaign for the protection of frontline healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 epidemic across the country. In total, 20,000 frontline health workers were trained over two months through videos, PPE (personal protective equipment) guidelines and provisional courses.

Minister Asad Umar stressed the need to continue compliance with SOP in public and said that positive results of enforcement should also be introduced in the forum and media. The minister said that the two-pronged strategy of the government was to first control the disease and secondly to strengthen the health system with effective deployment.
