Coronavirus epidemic continues wreaking havoc in Pakistan. In the last 24 hours, 1,487 new cases have been reported here. Now, the total number of infected people in the country has reached 2,71,886. National Health Ministry said that a total of 2,36,596 people have been cured from this disease.

Most cases reported in Sindh province:

Sindh has so far reported 116800 cases of this deadly virus. On the other hand, 91,691 cases were found in Punjab, 33,071 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 14,821 in Islamabad, 11,550 in Balochistan, 2,012 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and 1,942 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

1487 cases reported in the last 24 hours:

After 1,487 new patients in the last 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 271,886, while 5,787 people have died. The condition of 1294 patients in the country remains critical, while 29,503 patients are still being treated at home or in various hospitals in the country. Officials have conducted a total of 1,844,926 tests so far, including 23,630 in the last 24 hours.

So far, more than 1 crore 57 lakh 36 thousand cases have been reported worldwide. At the same time, the death toll has reached more than 6,39,000. This figure is increasing rapidly. The most infected country in the world is America. The number of infected people has crossed 41,86,000 while the number of deaths has reached 1,47,000. On the other hand, Brazil is the second most infected country. The number of infected people has reached 23,48,000. India is the most infected country at number three. The number of infected has reached 1.3 million in India. At the same time, the death toll has crossed 31 thousand.
