In Bihar, the number of patients infected with the corona virus has increased to 9. Three more new cases have been reported. A patient resident of Munger died on Saturday. State Health Officer of the Bihar Health Society, Dr. Ragini Mishra said on Friday that two employees of a private hospital, including Ward Boy, had come in contact with a patient, a resident of Munger infected with Corona virus. This patient was admitted to the hospital last week and later the patient died during treatment at Patna AIIMS.

She said that another patient admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH), who is a resident of Siwan district, has also been confirmed to be infected with Corona. Ragini said that 545 suspected samples of corona virus have been tested in the state, out of which 9 positives have been found. Patna's Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary said that the process of sealing this private hospital located in the Khemnichak area of ​​the city is going on.

Significantly, a patient resident of Munger who returned from Qatar was admitted to this private hospital earlier for treatment. He was later admitted to Patna AIIMS where he died on Saturday. The district administration ordered all the doctors, nurses and staff of this private hospital to remain separate. In the past days, 64 persons had come in contact with the patient, resident of Munger, out of which 55 samples were sent to the Rajendra Memorial Research Institute (RMRI) for examination. Among them, four of the patient's relatives including a woman (40) and children (12) have been confirmed to be infected with corona. The corona-infected woman and child have been admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital in Bhagalpur while others have been kept at home separately.
