Indian Legendary cricketer Kapil Dev made a positive statement to the public amid coronavirus threat. Kapil said, "To defeat Corona, we have to stay indoors. I know that we will win this battle. Your world is your family inside the house. Spend time with them. "As of late Thursday night, 24 thousand 114 people have died due to coronavirus in 195 countries of the world. While more than 5 lakh 36 thousand people are infected. So far 724 cases have been reported in India, out of which 19 have died. The country has been put into lockdown till 14 April.
Kapil told a sports channel, "You are going to stay at home, so stay home. This can at least help competent administration fight this deadly virus. It can be taken in a positive way. You have to challenge yourself to accept this situation. You have the means to entertain yourself – books, TV, music. It is best to keep talking to family members."
He said that this difficult time will make people more responsible. Kapil said, "Hopefully people will be more alert towards cleanliness now. They will learn to wash their hands. We have to keep our surroundings clean. I wish we had learned these lessons earlier, but hopefully, this generation will not make those mistakes. I was fortunate to be able to take lessons from my seniors in cricket and thank them. "
