Young Olympic wrestlers Deepak Poonia, Ravi Dahiya, Commonwealth Games gold medalist Sumit Malik and their coach Virendra Kumar have decided to help the needy during the Coronavirus epidemic and decides to donate their two-month salary.

World Championship silver medalist Deepak hails from Chara village in Jhajjar, Haryana and will pay his salary to help the hungry and other needy people. At the same time, World Championship bronze medalist Ravi will also help similar people in Nahari village of Sonepat while Sumit has decided to do the same thing in Dariyapur village near Bawana, Delhi. Apart from this, Virendra Kumar, coach of those three wrestlers, will donate 20000 rupees to Prime Minister Relief Fund and CM Relief Fund in Delhi. Apart from this, he will help the needy people by paying one month's salary in Hiranki village of Burari.

In the same sequence, Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta have decided to feed 5000 families in Jalandhar. Harbhajan said, 'I and Geeta will give ration to 5000 families in Jalandhar who are unable to get food in these difficult circumstances.'

Let us tell you that the number of people dying due to Coronavirus in India is increasing, as well as the number of people getting infected by it is also increasing. So far, more than 70 people have died in India, while more than 3000 people have been infected and are being treated. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, all the sports activities in the country are completely closed.
