According to the latest update, the coronavirus figure in the country has crossed the 9 million-mark. So far, 90,50,598 cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. Out of these, 84,78,024 people have been cured. Talking about active cases, there are currently 4,39,747 cases in the country. The death toll in India stands at 1,32,726.

The active cases are decreasing in the country. 4047 active cases decreased in the country in the last 24 hours. Currently, the active case rate is 4.86%. Along with this, the recovery rate is also accelerating. 49,715 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. This brings the recovery rate to 93.67%. The country’s mortality rate due to coronavirus stood at 1.47%.
Cases increasing rapidly in many states:
The corona cases have increased rapidly in many states of the country including Delhi, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Rajasthan. Around 7 thousand cases are being reported in Delhi every day. Apart from this, 5000 new cases are being reported daily in Maharashtra. There has also been surge in new cases in Kerala and Rajasthan.
More than 13 Crore tests conducted in the country:
More than 13 crore samples have been examined in the country so far. According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as of Friday, 13,06,57,808 samples have been tested in the country, out of which 10,66,022 tests were conducted yesterday.
