India reported 38,617 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday. At the same time, 474 people died due to infection, while 44,739 patients have been recovered. During this period, 9,37,279 sample tests were conducted across the country. Let us tell you that less than 50 thousand new coronavirus cases have been reported on the eleventh consecutive day.
Recovery rate has increased to 93.52 percent:
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 89,12,908 cases have been reported so far in the country and 1,30,993 people have died, while a total of 83,35,110 patients have been cured. The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,46,805. There has been a drop of 6596 cases in the last 24 hours. So far, 12 crore 74 lakh 80 thousand 186 sample tests have been conducted. For the last eight days, the number of active cases continues to be less than five lakhs. The recovery rate has increased to 93.52 percent, while the death rate has fallen to 1.47 percent.

Active cases in states:
In India, the number of infected reached 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October and 80 lakh on 29 October. Maharashtra has the highest number of 82,904 active cases, while there are 70,191 active cases in Kerala and 42,004 in Delhi. Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, West Bengal, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh have a total of 76.7 percent active cases in the country, according to the Ministry of Health.
At the same time, there are now 3500 ICU beds available in Delhi. It has to be increased to 6 thousand in the next few days. Within two days, 537 new ICU beds have been prepared at Sardar Patel Covid Hospital.
